Wearing the latest season high heels from Prada, with the limited edition handbags from Hermes, Vanessa is an office lady in Central. She is a secretary of a marketing manager in a Trans-National Company. Secretary is quite a good job as Vanessa gets a stable income and fixed working hour. It makes her can have time and resources her hobby – shopping.

Appearance is one of the major parts in office politics, especially among secretaries. And, gossip is one of the most powerful weapons in office. In order to not being the target of other office ladies in the ‘gossip attack’, Vanessa always equips herself when she back to office. She never goes to work without full makeup or with casual wear. In the modern society, luxury brand name product nearly equals to social status. Thus, Vanessa is very eager to buy the most fashionable and expensive products. She enjoys very much of being the focus among office ladies although the price is very expensive.

Now, Vanessa, is wearing the limited edition bag which she bought last week, is holding a big paper box in her hands. Because of the financial tsunami, she was just fired by the company together with her boss. It means the end of the world to Vanessa.

‘Oh my god. I just over-spent a lot in my shopping last week. I need my salary to pay for the credit card fee.’ Money is always the biggest problem to her. Shopping occupies the largest proportion to her salary. She doesn’t have any saving as all extra money goes to her clothes, bags, shoes, cosmetics, etc. She is so panic right now as she doesn’t know where she can get the money for the credit card fee.
