I will use this poem to make my script about a person who lost his/her memory.

story of a shopaholic (version 2)...which version is better?

Wearing the latest season high heels from Prada, with the limited edition handbags from Hermes, Vanessa is an office lady in Central. She is a secretary of a marketing manager in a Trans-National Company. Secretary is quite a good job as Vanessa gets a stable income and fixed working hour. It makes her can have time and resources her hobby – shopping.

Appearance is one of the major parts in office politics, especially among secretaries. And, gossip is one of the most powerful weapons in office. In order to not being the target of other office ladies in the ‘gossip attack’, Vanessa always equips herself when she back to office. She never goes to work without full makeup or with casual wear. In the modern society, luxury brand name product nearly equals to social status. Thus, Vanessa is very eager to buy the most fashionable and expensive products. She enjoys very much of being the focus among office ladies although the price is very expensive.

Now, Vanessa, is wearing the limited edition bag which she bought last week, is holding a big paper box in her hands. Because of the financial tsunami, she was just fired by the company together with her boss. It means the end of the world to Vanessa.

‘Oh my god. I just over-spent a lot in my shopping last week. I need my salary to pay for the credit card fee.’ Money is always the biggest problem to her. Shopping occupies the largest proportion to her salary. She doesn’t have any saving as all extra money goes to her clothes, bags, shoes, cosmetics, etc. She is so panic right now as she doesn’t know where she can get the money for the credit card fee.

Life is so amazing that you never know what will happen in the next minute. Suddenly, a small piece of card dropped in Vanessa’s paper box from the sky.

‘What’s that? Oh. It’s a Mark Six ticket,’ she asked herself. ‘But just forget about it I don’t have I can win any money from it. I’m so bad luck today!’

‘There’s Today News. The ever largest amount of prize fund of Mark Six draw is just announced. There is one prize unit who can win over Hong Kong dollar of $50,000,000. Congratulations to the lucky one. ’

‘What? $50,000,000?’ Vanessa said. ‘Such a huge amount. It will be great if I can get it. I can buy as I want, eat as I like. Wait, I received a ticket today right? It may be a gift from god. Just let me check it.’

Hi, I’m Sophie. Don’t you know that the word Sophie comes from Greek which means wisdom? Yes, I know that I have much wisdom. And, it doesn’t contribute much in my job. Oppositely, it contributes to my greatest hobby in my life, which is shopping. I always can buy the latest and limited products of different brands. You know what, it’s not an easy task to grab best products. The most important is that you need to have a good relationship with the salesgirls from different brands. Then they will inform you about the latest edition. It is a very difficult. All salesgirls love rich customers as they can earn more commission. But, I’m just an office lady. There must be many people richer than me. Thus, I need to have other strategy in order to win the kindness of the salesgirls. For example, I often bring some sample of different skincare and some cakes to the staff in order to win the ‘friendship’. After received some benefit, these saleswomen will willing to be nice with you. When there’s any new items arrived, they will call me immediately. Thus, I can get the most update news from them. That’s the reason to explain why I am always successful to get the latest limited products.

Our life is always full of ups and downs. We just can’t predict what will happen in the next minute. I can’t imagine I just experienced the worst month in my life. Because of the financial crisis, I was fired by my company. It wasn’t a big deal actually as I really hate my boss. But, I just bought several limited edition bags last month. They are quite expensive but I really love them. Thus, I bought them all back home. So, there comes the question. Without my job, I don’t have enough money for the credit card fee of the bags. I already kept over-spending in the past few months.

The plot

This month should be the worst month I had since I start to work. I just fired by my company and I owned the bank quite a large amount of credit card as I over-spent in the past few months. But I don’t afraid about this. Guess what? Today is the luckiest day in my life! I picked a Mark 6 voucher in the mini bus and all numbers suit with the latest draw. Oh my god, I’m so lucky. I can’t wait to get the prize. It’s about 10 million dollars! a

What a pity that it’s Friday’s night already. I need to wait until the office hour to register for the prize which means Monday. Waiting is such a long process. Never mind, I have something to do during waiting which is shopping!......
